Community Etiquette: A.- We at the C.F.O. know it can be hard to learn a new website so here is a few helpful tips to help you on ours: 1. You will see that you are at first classified as a new member/ lurker a. Here is the Definition: In Internet culture, a lurker is a person who reads discussions on a message board, newsgroup, chat room, file sharing or other interactive system, but rarely participates. 2. That is not necessary a bad thing, we ask that you lurk for a while: So you can get a feel for our etiquette of the community. 3. One thing that is a real help is to do a search before you post a question, to see if it already has been asked before. a. The last thing we want to see is 25 topics all asking the same thing. So we ask that you please refrain from double posting 4. Also please only use CAPITALS for making a point. a. It is usually considered shouting at someone if your whole post is in CAPITALS. Please only use it to make a point. 5. We ask all members to please be active participants in our club and website community. a. Our club is only as strong as our members are willing to make it. As such you are a classified as a new member/lurker on the website until you learn the site and start being a active participant.
