Don't know if this will help. If you have not found out already, I might say that our '89 Telstar has a red lighted switch on the wall between the bed and the bathroom.  It controls the fluorescent lighting nestled above the cabinets that are on the window side of the bed, (a bit hard to get to). I don't know how familiar you are with your coach lighting, but if this switch does control lighting above your cabinets, the wires go in the wall between the bed and bathroom, then behind the paneling at the end of the bed to the light bars above the cabinets. I am an amateur at both wiring as well as RVing, but if you start testing your wiring for power at this switch, you'll find most likely a bad switch, or have to go above the cabinets and check your lighting fixtures for power there. If you have already been told this, then just consider this post a friendly hello.  :)

Does the switch light up when it is turned on?
It could be for holding tank heaters, floor lights, or even a switch for rear speakers.

Hi, sorry to bother you, we have a motorhome just like yours but from 1988. We are trying to figure out what the red switch next to the rear bed is for. If you know, could you please tell us?, no ones seems to know :Idontknow:  thank you, Joel

Wanted 1990's Telstar 27' beds in rear.
Purchase, or bartering a deal is OK.

As you already know I have a 23' Telstar, but with grandkids getting bigger, I would like to move up to a 27' with beds in the back so would have a bit more space. Prefer a 90's model. I would entertain a purchase, trade, trade & cash or any other potential deal that could be made.
