I don't mean to but in here .  This is a PLEA from what i'm hearing out there in the cities.
There are a lot of folks that  want to find that cheap old motor home... for many reasons .
Many people are giving up thier apartments to live fulltime in old motorhomes, because of this economy
What you have is something that somebody is just wishing the could find. unless it's total junk.
But if it runs and will move somebody is looking for it maybe just for a place to live .
The scrap yard is giving you the price for weight.
If you need a TAX write off  you can donate it to many places for a TAX right off.
Like a church that may use it for a homeless family.
Some just scrap them, and use the "proceeds for thier charity"
I have a really sad looking old  80 Trans star unit and people are always comming up to me , asking if i would sell it .
Please be patient and try selling it on Craig's list or some where before you send it to the Crusher.
these things are being sought out by people,  ya just have to let them know you have it for sale .
Okay i'm done.

Iam ready to move my 1976 Champion Motorhome 27 Ft with 440-3 Dodge

iam only wanting 1850.00 or best offer for the unit to move it or I am going to send it to the scrap yard.

I had someone here from the scrap yard and they stated they would give me 850
but would like to sell the unit to someone that would care for the old girl.

1980 Chevy TransVan   "model 605" with 350 /350 drive train, Plain white wrapper,
